Good news: CatchAll has no accounts and stores nothing on our servers, so there is no "deletion request" to file with us and nothing for us to delete on your behalf. Silent share capture also keeps data only on your device (and optionally in your Drive if you enabled sync). Everything is under your direct control — here's exactly where it lives and how to remove it.
1. Delete data on your device
All catches, thumbnails, settings (including view layout preferences), and credentials are stored locally. To remove them:
- Individual catches: open a catch in the app and delete it.
- Everything at once: uninstall the app, or go to Android Settings → Apps → CatchAll → Storage → Clear storage. This permanently removes the local database, the thumbnail cache, and anything held in the device secure store (your API key and Drive token).
- Web dashboard: clear the site's browser storage (browser Settings → Site settings → find the dashboard's address → Clear data).
2. Delete the sync file in your Google Drive (if you enabled sync)
If you turned on Sync across devices, a single sync file exists in the app-private area of your own Google Drive. Two ways to remove it:
- From Google Drive: open drive.google.com → Settings (gear icon) → Settings → Manage apps → find CatchAll → Options → Delete hidden app data.
- From the app: Settings → disable Sync across devices → Disconnect Google Drive. This revokes the app's access token. (Disconnecting stops sync and revokes access; use the Drive steps above to also delete the file itself.)
3. Revoke CatchAll's access to your Google account
To make sure the app can no longer touch your Drive at all:
- Go to myaccount.google.com/permissions.
- Find CatchAll under third-party apps with account access.
- Click Remove access.
Note that CatchAll only ever had access to its own hidden app folder (drive.appdata scope) — never to your regular Drive files.
4. What about servers?
- Your content: never stored on any server we operate — there is nothing to delete.
- Free-tier AI quota counters: the enrichment proxy keeps only an anonymous random device identifier with usage counts, held in memory and reset monthly. It contains no content and cannot be linked to you. Uninstalling the app discards the identifier on your device, orphaning the counter until it expires.
- Your own AI key: if you used one, it only ever existed in your device's secure store and is destroyed by the steps in section 1. Consider also rotating the key in your provider's console if you want extra certainty.
